Jerry: When I am in a social gathering I sometimes
look for someone who looks lonely or sad. I know what
that feels like. I then go to them, smile, then ask
how they are doing, (sometimes giving them a hug.)
I then give them an encouraging word and try to include
them in the conversation. That makes me feel good. (Jerry-
I love these blogs.) Elaine

Well Put Jerry! Staying focused is one of the hardest things to do. Same with running ultras. We tend to focus on the finish, and not the beauty of the trail. Or the camaraderie of the folks around you.
